Usher Raymond takes on the big chill
Not only is Usher ready to sign divorce papers but the rumor is that he’s ready to get back into the career of acting. The last time we saw Usher Raymond in a movie role was in the 2001 release of Texas Rangers.
It seems that the musician is ready to chill out and redo the 1983 comedy The Big Chill.
Alex was the brightest star of the eight close-knit college friends. Now that he is deceased the rest of the gang begin to examine their lives.
Many have remained the same in some aspects of their lives while some aspects have changed. While the funeral and reception carries on, these seven friends renew their will of life and friendships.
There is no news on what character Usher will play in this movie remake. I hope that Usher takes on Tom Berenger’s role in the movie but that is still up in the air. I’m also interested to see who they will decide for the role that Glenn Close made a hit.
Personally I think that The Big Chill was a strange movie. I was surprise to hear that Usher would be a part of the comedy remake.
Do you think that this is a good movie for Usher? The critics gave the original Big Chill an above average rating but it seems that the general public loved the storyline. Do you think that Usher and his fellow actors will make the remake a hit? Or should Usher just stick to music and commercial work? I’d love to hear what my readers think.
