Tinker Bell pushes Angelina Jolie out of the U.N.

Published by cmaher under Walt Disney Edit This

Tinker Bell

We all know that Tinker Bell can be determined gal when she needs to be but I never thought that this would happen. That cute little blonde who cares about all the creatures of this world big and small has been made a representative of the United Nations.

‘We’re delighted Tinker Bell has agreed to be our Honorary Ambassador of Green,” said Mr. Akasaka. “This beloved animated character can help us inspire kids and their parents to nurture nature and do what they can to take care of the environment.”

I’m just wondering why the U.N. didn’t do this a little sooner. The underlining theme of all the Tinker Bell movies has been a spirit of conservation of nature. If you’re a fan of Tinker Bell then you know that the world wouldn’t have all the wonderful season if it wasn’t for Pixie Hollow and the work that they do there.

Now Pixie Hallow will not be able to restore the level of Pixie if Tinker Bell doesn’t set things right. Sounds a lot like the things that the world is facing today. We have to find a way to set things right.

So what do you think? Do you think that the U.N. did the right thing with inducting Tinker Bell? I really hope that the new U.N. addition inspires people to learn more about the December meeting for climate change and take an active role in the world around us.

Paranormal Activity on Entertainment Weekly

Published by cmaher under Paramount Edit This

Paranormal Activity posterHave you seen the cover of Entertainment Weekly? I don’t know if I should be afraid of Paranormal Activity or laugh at the films stars. Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat are on the cover lying in bed and trying to look scared as hell.

I know that the two actors are trying to strike poses of fear but that’s just not what you see when you look at them. Katie Featherston is screaming at the top of her lungs yet Micah Sloat looks like a deer caught in the headlights.

Men is this a sight you want to see in bed? Your wife is screaming and all you can do is hold her hand. Definitely sounds like a scene of laughter instead of screams. I guess that doesn’t matter because I’m sure that the two actors and production company are laughing all the way to the bank.

What was created from a yearly salary of someone working full-time at the box office has turned into a nearly $80 million return. That’s a major return on a movie from a production company I’m sure never thought they would be on the cover of all the major magazines.

So have you seen the cover of Entertainment Weekly? What do you think?

Coconut Bras at a Couples Retreat?

Published by cmaher under movie news Edit This

Kristen Bell In Couples RetreatEntertainment Weekly sat down with Couple’s Retreat star Kristen Bell. Of course questions about the other actors in Couple’s Retreat was given to Kristen Bell.

Kristen Bell is definately a gal after my own heart when she made the statement that she heads staight for the Toblerone and soda when she gets to a hotel room. The second question was just basicly scary, especially if you had to think of each actor with a coconut bra.

The question was “Which of my male costars from Couples Retreat would look best in a coconut bra?” Kristen Bell thinks that Jon Favreau would look best in that famous coconut bra. Personally, I think Vince Vaughn would look the funniest but that was her choice. Why? It seems that she thinks that he has nice tatas.

Now it’s your time to vote. Which Couples Retreat star do you think would look best in a coconut bra? Would it be:
Vince Vaughn
Carlos Ponce
Falzon Love
Jon Favreau
Jason Bateman
