Lorimar Film Entertainment and Universal Pictures produced a great film called The Last Starfighter. Now this family action adventure can be enjoyed as a Blu Ray DVD.

This Nick Castle film is about a teen named Alex who is frustrated to be stuck in a trailer park community who finds refuge in a video game. Little does Alex know is the video game is a recruiting tool for an alien race of Starfighters.

Alex (Lance Guest) meets Centauri (Robert Preston) and takes off into space to defend Centauri’s planet and universe. Alex gives it a go but wants to return home for a visit. When getting back to Centauri’s fellow troops, he realizes that someone is trying to kill off all the Starfighters. I’ll leave the storyline right there because I want you to get the Blu=Ray DVD and enjoy it for yourself. It’s a great family film and I think you’ll love it.
