Teen Choice Awards Nominee Hugh Jackman New Movie

Teen Choice Award Nominee X-Men movie star Hugh JackmanHugh Jackman and X-Men Origins move is a hot ticket at the Teen Choice Awards. The movie star that plays Wolverine is just one nomination among the six categories. Now that Hugh Jackman is on hiatus from wearing metal slashing movie props, I wonder what he’s been up to in the movie business.

Other than having nearly 10 movies connected to Hugh Jackman, the X-Men movie star has agreed to play a role in Guardians of Ga’Hoole. This is an animated adventure directed by Zack Snyder.

It’s not know what character our X-Men star will play in Guardians of Ga’Hoole but I have a feeling it’s going to be a fun character. I wonder if Hugh Jackman will be playing one of the Guardians of Ga’Hoole nemeses instead of playing the hero all the time.

Hugh Jackman has been a great success taking roles in animated films and I don’t think that this will be any different. If you haven’t heard about Guardians of Ga’Hoole, Ga’Hoole is an island with a society of owls. A young barn own is kidnapped and sent to military training with the villains of St. Aggies. The young barn owl and his friends escape to Ga’Hoole and join the team of owls already on the island. They plot to rise against the leaders of St. Aggies and free all the other orphans.

Guardians of Ga’Hoole is the first book in a series of three by writer Kathryn Lasky. Will Hugh Jackman and the rest of the cast create such a fun story that we will be seeing more of these owls of Ga’Hoole. We can only hope that writer Kathryn Lasky has as much success with her books as Harry Potter did.
