Who is Alice in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland?
The actress that took on the role in Tim Burton’s production of Alice in Wonderland is new to me though Mia Wasikowska has made a lasting impression.
Our new Alice in Wonderland Mia Wasikowska has been in the movie business since 2006 with her role as the girl in a short movie called “Lens Love Story”. The first time she made an impression on this movie fan was with Edward Zwick movie release of “Defiance”.
Mia Wasikowska played opposite Daniel Craig, Leiv Schreiber, and George MacKaytook as Chaya Dziencielsky. As Chaya Dziencielsky there was softness about Mia Wasikowska while she portrayed the role of a young jewish woman trying to survive in the Belarussian forest.
The young actress played the role in such a way that people were able to connect with her character. Though Defiance was such a good movie it was hard not to connect with any of the characters.
Will the same be with her role as Alice in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland? Growing up with Alice in Wonderland, I never thought of Alice as a girl who was soft spoken and like a deer caught in the headlights. Sure she had a wild imagination and was always using it instead of doing her schoolwork but never one that needed to be protected.
So I’m interested in seeing how Mia Wasikowska will take on the role of Alice in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.
