Box Office Report: Funny People rule at the Box Office

Published by cmaher at 7:12 am under movie news Edit This

Funny People Movie Release Starring Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, and Leslie MannHarry Potter tried to fly to the top of the Box Office charts this weekend but was smacked down to second place by Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, and Leslie Mann. Just to prove that this weekend that just regular funny people get the last laugh.

Funny People movie release grossed $24.3 million dollars. I’m not surprised because Adam Sandler and Leslie Mann are funny people. I still haven’t decided about Seth Rogen yet. I’m still on the fence with Seth Rogen and Seth Rogen movies. The question is if the Funny People movie release will gross enough money to top the Harry Potter saga. With three Harry Potter movies in the top 50 of all time favorite films, it’s going to be a challenge for Funny People and Adam Sandler at the Box Office.

It looks like G-Force has lost well a little power. This weekend the team of secret agents have dropped down to third place as a movie release. The Ugly Truth is that Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl movie release is not doing well at all. The romantic comedy movie duo is doing it’s best to stay in the top five at the Box Office.

Will we see any of these movies in the box office top 5 next weekends? This weekend the Box Office will be bringing in the cash on three new movie releases. G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, which I’m sure, will be a hit with all the action movie fans.

If movie fans are not handing their hard earned cash for an action flick then I’m sure some will be checking out the scantily clothed Milla Jovovich in The Perfect Getaway.
For all the inspired Chef’s and women, Meryl Streep will be hitting the box office with Julie & Julie.

We can’t forget the limited screenings at the Box Office. Paper Heart also opens this weekend along with Cold Souls. There is a lot to see this weekend at with five different movie releases.

Any comments on which movie you might be going to see this weekend at the Box Office?
