Harry Potter couldn’t take the G-Force

Published by cmaher at 10:30 am under movie news Edit This

Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince Premiere You would think that Harry Potter could stand G-Force from his broomstick. We’ve seen him tackle G-Force over and over in the wizard school. Unfortunately G-Force got the best of Harry Potter this weekend.

I really thought that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince would be able to hold onto first place for two weeks in a row. This weekend it seems the G-Force gerbil team took the lead with all of it’s 21 century spy gizmo’s. Not only did the movie make more money during the opening weekend but the film took the lead with nearly a thousand less movie theater showings.

G-Force isn’t the only movie that is giving Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince a run for it’s money. The thriller movie Orphan and the romantic comedy The Ugly Truth tossed the Dinosaurs back into the Ice Age.

Will Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince be left in the world of wizards and wizardrey? Movie fans will have to wait till tomorrow to find out. It seems that for now movie fans are stuck in the future with Transformers.

Dreamworks is causing its own G-Force with the latest Transformer movie. At only week 5 it’s still the highest grossing movie to date. Well that’s it for movie results for now. Check Movie Hunger later as I talk about the DVD release results for last week and this weekend!
