I knew that Twilight Saga star couldn’t turn down such a thriving role as vampire Edward Cullen. It just goes to show that the 23-year-old New Moon star had a good head on his shoulder.
Hollywood Reporter caught the announcement at the Cannes Film Festival where Robert Pattison said that he will be taking on the role of Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Why the sudden change of heart for Robert Pattinson? The movie rumor was that Robert Pattinson would go on to do other things and perhaps even quit acting all together. It seems that Edward Cullen doesn’t show up much in Twilight Saga New Moon. That he is just bits and pieces in Bella’s mind. So I’m sure that Robert Pattinson jumped at the chance to do more with the character of Edward Cullen.
I personally hope that Robet Pattinson sees this role to the very end. Of course fans have no idea how many books will be written and how many movies will be made out of the famous Twilight Saga books.
Once again I can’t wait until more official new moon posters start leaking across the Internet. The first installment of New Moon posters was really well done and I can’t wait to see more.
