Gavin voting for X-Men Origins Deadpool

Published by cmaher at 2:05 am under movie news Edit This

Ryan Reynolds as X-Men Origins Deadpool movieDirector Gavin Hood isn’t the only one voting for Deadpool. As X-Men Wolverine does well at the Box office last weekend, Fox Studios is already hashing out the storyline for even more X-Men mutants.

Director Gavin Hood did go on record that the character creators for these characters worked really hard and a movie could possibly be made out of all of them. I have to agree with the X-Men Origins director on that point. Unless you’re a fan of the X-Men comic books, then the movie fan really does not know that magnitude of each mutant’s history.

For example, a Movie Hunger reader brought up the name of Cable. Did you know that Cyclopes eventually has a son? What skeletons really hide in Deadpool’s closet?

The X-Men Origins Director spoke with WENN about the upcoming movie. “Ryan Reynolds is extremely charismatic…and he can combine action with humor. Sure, Ryan Reynolds can be charismatic but can he be “The Merc with the mouth”?

Will Ryan Reynolds be able to pull off a full X-Men Origins movie where he had to have cockiness, wit, dry humor, and the love of gloating over victories? Readers I’d love to get your comments on this news.

Personally I don’t think that the Fox Studio heads will get the Deadpool character right. From X-Men Origin Wolverine movie stills I can see they didn’t Deadpools costume right. I think that Ryan Reynolds would be able to pull Deadpool off again though.

Your thoughts about the next X-Men Origins movie?
