Brad Pitt from military life to The Tree of Life
Brad Pitt wowed audiences with his movie role at Lt. Aldo Raine. Now can Brad Pitt stand out from current award winning Sean Penn for his role in The Tree of Life?
I have a feeling that Brad Pitt will be playing a supporting role in the upcoming movie release. This fantasy drama is about three boys who grew up in the 1950’s and what they have seen in their lifetime.
At the moment movie fans and the press can’t tell if this is Brad Pitt’s new movie or Sean Penn’s new film. One thing for sure that The Tree of Life will be set to play on Imax screens. Which means it could be a major hit or a Imax flop.
I’m usually skeptical with Imax movies because though they are know to win tons of awards, the general movie audience doesn’t usually go crazy over them. The director Terrence Mallick has been known for his documentaries and I have a feeling that Brad Pitt new movie will get the same reception.
Though with Sean Penn playing yet another role his stardom could lead The Tree of Life to a box office hit instead of a miss.
