Top ten movies for family fun
If you’re thinking about the movie theaters or a DVD rental this weekend for a little family fun then I’d love to give you some suggestions. Here are my top ten movies for family fun. Both the movie theaters and home entertainment have something to offer this weekend. Yes, it’s the weekend and it’s time to feed that movie hunger.
Movie family fun for children
Most people can find Monsters VS Aliens still in the movie theaters. I would recommend 17 again staring Zac Efron and Hannah Montana: The Movie but some kids may just not understand the storyline.

Movie family fun for teens
For anyone who has teens that are above the age of 13, there is definitely a better movie release selection. If you think your teen would like a Russell Crowe film then check out State of Play.

Now you could be like my family and decide to stay in over the weekend. I hate to say it but your local DVD rental location has a better selection of family fun this weekend.
The tale of Despereaux offers a fun story about the mighty and honorable courage coming from an awkward mouse. Bedtime Stories is another selection. Who wouldn’t like to see their children’s bedtime stories manifest in real life? O.K. maybe not but at least you can have some family fun with this dvd release.
I know that Jim Carrey would love to teach you how to say “Yes” but some families may have to say “No” because of the brief nudity and profanity. Walt Disney has three animated shorts that came out last week. They could be great back up entertainment this weekend. Walt Disney animation presents us with the prince and the pauper. The second is Mickey and the Beanstalk. The final DVD release is the three little pigs.
So here are my top ten movies for family fun for this weekend.
