Movie Hunger

It’s a new DVD rental today. What would you do if you had to face the fact that the virus that destroyed your life is still active today? That’s the question that Claire, Leon and Angela have to answer.

Movie story:
Capcom and Producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi bring movie fans another story from the video game series Resident Evil. In this animated movie release an activist unleashes the deady virus in Harvardville. Special Forces members Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield once again have to respond to the threat and mutated monsters.

With the help of Angela Miller, they try their best to keep Harvardville from ending up with a population of zombies like Raccoon City.

Movie review:
For a movie that is made completely from CGI, I’m impressed with Director Makoto Kamiya work. I have to give props to everyone that worked on the animation movie release of Resident Evil Degeneration.

I thought that Shotaro Suga storyline was well thought out. The movie story contained enough drama, romance, and action to keep my interests. The slowing of certain scenes in the movie was done in the right places and well done.

I have to be honest I was expecting terrible computer animation, a boring storyline, and just too much drama in this animated movie release. What I got was the opposite movie story than what I expected.

Movie Ending
The drama between Angela and Leon was a little over the top and corny. I honestly think that Claire and Leon should get together but I guess their relationship is more of a Brother/Sister scene.

The final scene in the movie release of Resident Evil Degeneration was perfect. I wasn’t too keen with everyone just coasting off into the sunset with the bad guy being locked up. Will they continue the storyline where it left off in this movie release, I don’t know but I do hope so.

Movie Report
The DVD rental Resident Evil Degeneration gets four stars. It could have been 5 if some of the scenes were not so dark. As in I couldn’t get a whole view of the scene on the DVD rental because the lighting was bad.

If your new to the whole scene of Resident Evil on DVD then I would rent on of the previous DVD movies of the Resident Evil series.
