Seth Rogen Green Hornet update

Published by cmaher at 2:02 am under movie news Edit This

Green Hornet
Since my last post about Seth Rogen and The Green Hornet, Seth Rogen has been slimming down for the part. Good for you Seth. I’m sure you all are wondering if the latest movie release of The Green Hornet will stick to the comic book storyline. Will the family history of Britt Reid come to play during the storyline?

Unfortunately Seth Rogen told Reelzchannel.com that Jerry Bruckheimer actually owns the rights to some of Britt Reid family history in the form of The Lone Ranger. So most of the movie I suspect will be inspired by The Green Hornet original than the actual comic book.

It also looks like things are still in negotiation about Kato. Stephen Chow still hasn’t decided if he’s going to sign on the bottom line for this movie release. I really hope that he does. I think that Seth Rogen and Stephen Chow would still be a good combination in the movie theaters.

IMDB posts The Green Hornet as an Action Comedy. I heard through the grapevine that Seth Rogen and Michael Gondry do not want this to be about forced comedy. It seems that movies like the Indiana Jones series inspire the comedy that is going to be in the Green Hornet.

O.K. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to arrive. As soon as I hear more news about this latest movie release I’ll let you know. Till then enjoy everything else you can find on Movie Hunger.
