Parents are after Celebrity Britney Spears

This time a council of parents is not after celebrity Britney Spears for something she did to her own children. The watchdog group Parents Television Council is calling into the FCC this time because of Britney Spears Circus Track “If U Seek Amy”
PTC is complaining that the track title is said two quickly then kids around the nation will get the wrong idea from the celebrity Pop Divas music track.
“We plan to play an edited, super-clean version,” Tom Poleman, senior vice president of programming for Clear Channel, tells The New York Daily News. “We’re just waiting for a good edit.”
More than likely Clear Channel, which I know owns several radio stations will either change the name or have DJ call it by some other name. Honestly, I think that the Parents Television Council should be worried about the raunchy lyrics vs a name of a Britney Spears music track.
Not once did I hear the F-word in ‘If U Seek Amy’. I will always take this stance with music. If you don’t like what is playing on the radio station then let your child know what the results are for listening to that radio stations and reinforce them.
