Midseason television rants and raves

Most of the celebrity nation is going on hiatus but the television networks still have to make their money. I just have to ask. Is anyone excited about the midseason shows?
ABC
ABC is offering up The Bachelor, Scrubs, Lost, Castle, Cupid, and The Unusuals. Lost, The Bachelor, and Scrubs are big hits with fans but as of right now. I really don’t want anything from this television network buffet.

CBS
Ashton Kutcher has come up with another crazy idea. Crazy Game Show In My Head sounds like another candid camera except that people are competing for prizes.

CBS is also offering Flashpoint, Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Harper’s Island. Since I like police and military television shows, I’ll give a couple of episodes of Flashpoint a go. I’ll be glued to the television for another episode of The Amazing Race.

FOX brings us another season of American Idol. Along with the FOX favorite there is 24, Lie to me, Hell’s Kitchen, and Doll House. I’m going to be glued to 24 because Sutherland is a favorite of mine. I’d love to get episodes of Hell’s Kitchen in but Ramsey needs to tone down the cussing.

The constant cussing has just turned my burner off. How about you? As for Doll House, bodies for rent might just be to strange for my tastes.

NBC has a strange lineup. A mixture of reality television, comedy and beliefs is in store for NBC viewers.

Superstars of dance pits professional dancers from around the world against each other. Michael Flatley of the Lord of the Dance will be hosting this event. I don’t know if Nigel Lythgoe and Simon Fuller are trying to bring ballroom dancing to a new audience or are just trying to ride the wave from Dancing with the Stars.

The show that I’m looking forward to is Medium. I just can’t get enough of the Dubois family and the strangeness around them.

CW
I’d rather be watching Smallville and Supernatural but I guess I can check out 13: Fear Is Real. 13 people will face their fears in the Louisiana Bayou for $66,666. Hmmm I see visions of spiders, snakes, and alligators in my head.

This is what is on my plate at Celebriosity. What show are you looking to sink your teeth into on these television networks?
